La Stoppa Wine Dinner feat. Guest Chef Evan Gaudreau

We are so excited to welcome La Stoppa for an out-of-this-world wine dinner at Basic Kitchen! It doesn’t stoppa there.. The night will feature guest chef Evan Gaudreau of Renzo, curating a 4 course Italian feast paired with the La Stoppa selections. 

Join us as we explore the wines of La Stoppa, a beautiful natural winery dedicated to the indigenous varietals of Western Italy. Each wine is grown with the utmost respect for the land and grape; grown organically and handpicked. The resulting wines are the truest expression of Emilia Romagna, a joy we cannot wait to share with you.   

In the company of Nico Sciacchitano of La Stoppa, we will begin with an aperitivo in the garden, and then move inside to enjoy a 4 course family style meal paired with the wines of La Stoppa, prepared by our chef Robin Hollis and guest chef Evan Gaudreau.

Mamma mia, this one is not to be missed! Tickets are all inclusive; wine, dine, tax & tip. See you then ;)

Aperitivo in the Garden:

Pan de crystal • Sardella, fancy olive oil  

1st course paired with the Ageno

John’s greens • Kabocha vinegar, shaved winter veg, crispy shallots, cerignola olives, sunflower seeds 

2nd course paired with the Trebbiolo

Chestnut Risotto • Parmigiano reggiano, garlic chives

Main paired with the Barbera and Single Vineyard Macchiona

Braised Pork • tomato sugo, pickled peppers  


Sweets paired with the Vigna Del Volta
